Jon Hillenbrand’s “Run for your Life 5K” Jon Hillenbrand, August 2, 2015October 17, 2019 The culmination of a 12 week Couch to 5K running plan ends today. The training has been the most fun running I’ve ever done. It is a plan that I chose through Garmin Connect, the website that interfaces with my Garmin Fenix 3 watch and tracks my fitness. The plans were all created by a UK company called Full Potential. They base their plans on heart rate, time (instead of distance) recovery and a few other factors that you might not consider when running. It has made the workouts different every day and prevented me from getting injured. WHEN/WHERE: EVANSTON, IL – lakefront Sunday Aug 2nd, 2015 – 8:30am LIVE TRACK: You can follow Jon’s progress live on race day including getting information on his heart rate, pace, GPS location and other metrics. But many lawyers depend on the fact that they aren’t real. Perhaps because of their association with the imagination, they’ve acquired a bad rep. They can change the color of a car, the height… Read More
Photography Our Sea of Choices March 11, 2007October 17, 2019 Quotes are a lens which brings life into focus some times. The movie Gladiator has a few of these quotes. “What we do in this life echoes throughout eternity.” I think these are good words to live by and though I’ve doubted the existence of eternity in the past, I’ve… Read More
Thanks to everyone who supported me! I had to walk twice when I got really cold (surprisingly) and I ran way faster than the pace I wanted to set (which caused me to walk), but I was able to finish at a running pace.
